Pay Traffic Ticket by Phone:
Make a payment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our IVR service at (888) 982-4439.
Go to https://monroeclerkpay.com/ and follow the prompts to pay the ticket.
- Out-of-state drivers should confirm with the DHSMV whether Florida Traffic School can be used for point removal or prevention.
- Under Florida law, CDL license holders are not eligible to elect traffic school.
If you choose to elect the school option, you have 90 days to find a FLORIDA CERTIFIED/APPROVED TRAFFIC SCHOOL for the 4-hour Basic Driver Improvement Course. THE TRAFFIC SCHOOL OPTION ONLY PREVENTS POINTS FROM BEING ADDED TO YOUR LICENSE; YOU STILL NEED TO PAY THE CITATION.
Drivers may not make an election to attend a BDI course if they have:
- Made an election to attend a BDI course in the preceding 12 months;
- Made eight elections in a lifetime;
- A Commercial Driver License (CDL); or
- Been cited for going 30 mph above the posted speed limit.
IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE WE RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE OF SCHOOL COMPLETION OR THE STATE OF FLORIDA CAN SUSPEND YOUR LICENSE FOR NON-COMPLIANCE.
